"VANGA" - the orthodox ice cream made with natural ingredients and handcrafted techniques

"VANGA" was born in the natural mountains of Shimane and the pure, clear Hii River basin. It is a 100% natural ice cream made with the utmost care for milk, eggs, and nature.
We also reduced the amount of air contained in the ice cream to ensure a fine, smooth texture.

In pursuit of natural sweetness, the flavoring is only natural vanilla. No additives such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, or synthetic colorings are used.

There are five flavors: vanilla, matcha and azuki, blueberry, strawberry, and bitter chocolate. They are luxuriously delicious, making the most of the ingredients.

■ Producers' commitment to ingredients <Milk>
Raw milk is squeezed from dairy cows that are raised freely in mountain villages surrounded by rich nature.
To preserve its deliciousness, heat treatment is kept to a minimum.

The cows that are raised to produce this milk are packed with the following special attention to detail:

・Health management of dairy cows is essential to improving milk quality. Dairy farms on a small scale where the breeders can keep a close eye on them are recommended, rather than large-scale dairy farms. ・Non-genetically modified compound feed is used.

<Eggs>
We use plenty of fertilized eggs from healthy, energetic roosters raised at the farm.
We start by creating good soil, and use eggs from healthy chickens that have been raised in natural environments.

・The feed is non-genetically modified and no post-harvest pesticides are used.

■The producer's thoughts: "Eating" means receiving the lives of living things on Earth.
This is the founder's habit. Basically, we want to learn from the ancient wisdom of Japan and produce food that is suited to the local climate and environment.
The founder also listed "farmer" as his title on his business cards and continued to focus on organic farming with dairy farming at its core. As a pioneer of organic farming, he was awarded the title of "Organic Farming Meister" and is still involved in promoting organic livestock farming as a member of the Japan Organic Agriculture Research Association.

Food produced through organic farming, which respects the workings of nature, can be said to be safe for both people and the environment. There is peace in living a life where we eat the power of nature. In Japan, where there are four distinct seasons, each vegetable also has its own season. The season is when crops grow most naturally.
Eating means receiving the "life" of living things on Earth. And when we think of food as a source of life, how it is produced becomes important. The ideal relationship between producers and consumers is one in which the producers and consumers can see each other's faces. I hope that we can understand each other about the thoughts and feelings that go into producing each grain of rice and what is truly important.
Living in harmony with nature like this is the spirit.

It was with this idea in mind that this ice cream was born.
On Mother's Day, please enjoy this with your family, keeping in mind the thoughts of the producers.
