"The master of Natural House, Hideo, the father of natural farming rice," uses white rice grown without fertilizer by Mr. Sato of Yamagata Prefecture. Brown rice porridge simmered slowly without adding salt. You can enjoy the original taste and aroma of rice.
This porridge is made with Koshihikari rice from the Mizuho Producers Group, chaired by Hideo Sato, one of Natural House's leading producers. The rice is slowly cooked in pure natural water that springs from the local Mount Chokai, carefully bringing out the sweetness of the rice. The Mizuho Group, which is engaged in organic rice cultivation in the rice-producing Shonai region of Yamagata Prefecture, sees rice fields not simply as a place for food production, but as a wetland "biotope" where various living creatures gather, and practices recycling-oriented organic agriculture that does not overwhelm nature and is in harmony with the environment.
[Carefully cultivated]
○ They cultivate microorganisms collected from the local beech forests of Mt. Chokai and create their own bokashi. Soil preparation is the basis of organic farming, but groups that collect the microorganisms for bokashi themselves are extremely rare across the country.
○Weeds are plowed into the rice paddies, where they are decomposed by microorganisms and used as nutrients. In order to nurture the vitality of the rice plants, some weeds are intentionally left in place even during weeding season. This allows rice plants to grow strong plants that can coexist with the weeds.
Koshihikari rice, grown without fertilizer or added salt by Mr. Sato, is slowly cooked using only spring water from Mt. Chokai.
You can enjoy the original taste and aroma of rice.
