Made with 100% domestically grown organic barley. It has a firm texture. If you boil it until it's fluffy, you can enjoy the texture of pasta. Good at cooking.

We use barley that is rich in dietary fiber, which modern people tend to lack. It is rolled barley that retains a lot of the germ. It is recommended not only for barley rice, but also for soups and salads.

1 year [How to use]
[Mixing ratio] Start by mixing at 10%. The recommended amount is 2 tablespoons (about 15g) per cup of rice. If you mix 30% barley, you can get about 2g of dietary fiber in one bowl of barley rice.
[Washing rice] Mix with rice and wash together. (If you don't mind not washing it, or are worried about the wheat floating and being washed away when washing the rice, you can use it without washing it.)
[Water amount] Use a little more water than you would use for rice. (Add about 35cc for each cup of rice.)
[How to cook] Add water and let soak for about 30 minutes before starting to cook.
[How to steam] Steam for a little longer (about 5 minutes longer) than when steaming rice alone.
