Organic Nanko umeboshi plums from Nasu

"Natural House's long-selling" product uses JAS-certified organic Nanko plums and red shiso. Fully ripened Nanko plums are pickled in salt alone.

We harvested fully ripe Nanko plums that Mr. Nasu lovingly cultivated in the mountain villages of Kishu, and pickled them in salt alone. These plums are thick and soft, dried in the traditional way during the doyo period. We garnished them with organically grown shiso leaves to give them a rich flavor.
