Nasu's Organic Small Pickled Ume

"Natural House's long-selling product" uses plums from Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. Nasu carefully pickles them using traditional methods. These umeboshi have soft flesh and a strong flavor.

We harvested small plums with firm flesh that Mr. Nasu lovingly cultivated in the mountain villages of Kishu, and pickled them in salt alone. These are soft pickled plums that are dried the traditional way during the doyo period. We garnished them with organically grown shiso leaves to give them a rich flavor.
