"Two generations of parents and children making Japanese black tea in Izumo" Nishi Oya and Oya are pioneers of organic Japanese black tea in Izumo. They have been making Natural House Japanese black tea for a long time. Please enjoy our safe and gentle tasting Japanese black tea.

Nishi's "Black Tea from Izumo Province"
Hoping to revive domestic black tea, we have been producing it since 1985 using tea leaves grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

The harvested tea leaves are not pressed immediately, but are left to rest in a well-ventilated place.
The tea is oxidized and fermented slowly over time without heating. The black tea made in this way has a gentle aroma and is less bitter and astringent. It can be enjoyed without sugar.

"Domestic black tea that has been produced since 1985"
Black tea is made from tea leaves just like Japanese tea, but the manufacturing process is very different. We have been making black tea since 1985 and we use our experience in making our products. We also cultivate tea plant varieties for black tea and produce flavored tea, so you can enjoy the different flavors of black tea even among Japanese black teas.

[How to make it delicious]
(1) Boil water and pour it into the teapot and cups to warm them all over, then discard the water.
(2) Put about 3g (one teaspoon) of tea leaves into the warmed teapot for each person. You will need about 5g to brew one serving.
(3) After pouring in the hot water, immediately cover the pot and let the tea leaves steep. The steeping time is up to you, but a good rule of thumb is 3 to 4 minutes.
(4) Once the tea has finished steaming, gently stir the leaves with a spoon to even out the strength and pour into a cup. Be sure to pour out every last drop (the golden drop).
