Chamomile is the Japanese name for German chamomile, known as the queen of herbs and a popular medicinal herb for over 4,000 years. In Japan, chamomile tea is common, but in Europe, where herbal therapy is popular, its benefits for the skin are well known. It has been used as a skin care product for a long time because it has excellent moisturizing power to hydrate the skin and soothe skin troubles such as dryness, eczema, and heat rash.

In order to bring out the active ingredients of chamomile, chamomile is cultivated without the use of pesticides and only with organic fertilizer, and the active ingredients are extracted slowly without heating using not only the flowers but also the stems and leaves. Based on the promise of "not adding anything unnecessary," we have been producing this extract with sincerity using the same manufacturing method for over 30 years, without using any synthetic fragrances, synthetic colorings, or mineral oils.

・What is Kamitsukoi's Chamomile Extract?
Chamomile extract is made by extracting the full power of chamomile (flowers, leaves, and stems) from chamomile grown without pesticides and with organic fertilizer at our own farm in Ikeda Town, Nagano Prefecture, and at contracted farmers in Japan, without heating, using water from Azumino and fermented ethanol derived from sugarcane. German chamomile, the raw material, is known as the "Queen of Herbs" and is an annual plant of the Asteraceae family that has been popular as a medicinal herb for over 4,000 years, and its Japanese name is "Kamitsure". Chamomile is a sweet-smelling herb that has been loved by many people since ancient times, with high medicinal properties, especially its moisturizing effects.
